It feels like ages since I last wrote.

Montreal is beautiful! I love my neighbourhood, my workplace and my new friends! So far, everything is going swimmingly.

This is the view from my window:

Today was my first day of work and (yay!) I have my own desk, my own computer, my own mailbox… and my very own project! I’m so stoked. It’s a bit intimidating when I stop and think about it, but I know that everything will go well. It’s not like I’m an idiot or anything… right?? Don’t answer that.

I’ve made a few AWESOME friends! I love all of them already and I can’t wait for what these three months have in store for all of us. There are about seventeen of us at the moment, but fifteen more Uni students from Ontario came in yesterday. We’re meeting them all tomorrow for an afternoon of what I hope will be “goodness”.

Only downer is that there are only THREE boys. Ahem. What the eff is up with that?!?! Although the Montreal boys are much more oh la la than any Edmonton boys I’ve seen. Must be because they’re NOT Edmontonian.

I told myself I would stop at last week's concert. I told myself that my new year's resolution of going to a show per month was already met... seeing as I've been to 12 concerts to date... Let's see... It all began with Matt Costa's concert in February Then I was lucky enough to experience the Foos in late March It was Concert-Palooza in April with THREE amazing concerts! In June I went to the Death Cab concert in Montréal... .... as well as NXNE (during which FIVE amazing bands played... only counts as one concert) In August, I went to Osheaga... .... and Radiohead. In September I saw Oasis... .... and the Saint Alvia... And now, in October, I went to my 12th concert... Bedouin Soundclash. But still. That doesn't mean that I don't want to go to David Martel's November 6th concert... or Sam Roberts' concert on November 20. I think I'm addicted to live music.

So, in my hurry to post on Muse, I forgot to mention that I've finally bought my ticket to Oz! :D Hahaha! Yep. I'm officially going to Australia with Tamara and Sean. It will be amaze-buckets. Une autre chose, le "gars" est en traîne de décider s'il va faire un voyage au Costa Rica, à l'Australie ou en Europe. Moi j'espère qu'il n'ira pas à l'Australie.
